Do I have to commit to a long term program?
Answer: No, we don’t have programs or contracts. It is important to us and the culture of the dojo (martial arts school) that people training have made a choice to be there. People on contracts often feel resentful and so don’t make the best training partners. Are we going to push you to overcome your own self doubt or maybe the challenges of life getting in the way of training? Yes, we are, but not with contracts and commitments just with energy and encouragement. Our terms are simple - 30 day cancellation and that’s it.
What if I need to travel or worse become sick and can’t train?
Answer: That’s easy! You can pause your membership without losing any membership benefits like maintaining your price once you join. You can pause membership for up to 3 months. You are still considered a member and so the price protection you have is preserved. The price you join will never go up as long as you are an active member.
Are there any added costs to training as I progress?
Answer: No, absolutely not! Your monthly fee covers everything including belt promotions.
Is there a joining fee?
Answer: No, there is no down payment to join Elite Force Martial Arts. The only additional cost is a gi (uniform) & safety gear
Am I too old to start Martial Arts?
Answer: No, we have members as old as 74 and as young as 4. In fact, we had a husband and wife achieve their Black Belts together and they were 74 and 69 respectively. Make no mistake, mixed martial arts training is going to be challenging. It's not easy and will tax you mentally and physically but the rewards of overall fitness, well being, and camaraderie outweigh the challenges.
What if I haven’t done martial arts before?
Answer: That doesn’t matter at all! Classes are delivered by our professional instructors who are trained not only in martial arts, but also in how to be a great teacher. Our instructors go through weekly instructor training to make sure they are delivering the best classes possible. We have also developed an incredible fundamentals program that will help you learn safely and easily so you enjoy the process.
I’m not too fit right now and a little overweight. Can I train MMA?
Answer: You are not alone, and the answer is yes. MMA is an overall great workout and the MMA gyms that make wild claims about weight loss are to be avoided. The fact is that weight loss is about calories and exercise. Martial Arts training is a wonderful compliment to a weight loss program, and we have had many students who have lost weight, gained energy, and feel younger as a result of the program.
